How to Effectively Read and Approach a Final Report: A Guide for Students

Why is it cool?
  • The report works as a certificate that you can show off as proof of your personal contributions to the writing project, i.e. protection against misconduct accusations.

  • For the future, it helps you to improve your work, by showing feedback regarding your performance in the writing project.

The report contains the following sections:

  • An overview page with the most important data.
  • Graphs, that will show how much time and amount of work you invested in the different aspects of your writing project.
  • The results of our writing pattern analysis, show, where text was copied and how you resolved it (marked it as a citation, deleted it, or indicated the help of AI).
  • The writing journal summarizes each day’s activities that a student has completed within the shared cloud folder, including any edits to their main document.
  • A source list which includes the materials that you have used during your research and the ones you have cited in your main document.
  • Usability
    • The report starts with quick facts, so you can immediately check out the most important data. Whenever you get curious about a specific piece of information, you can check it out in detail on the upcoming pages.
  • Technical
    • The report is available as a PDF. The report can actively be generated on demand or can also be autogenerated, once the deadline is being reached. Along with the report a copy of the main document is being created at the exact time the report is being made to ensure, that they belong together.
