• Usability

  • Easily accessible from the top bar in your workspace. If you for example use MS Word you also have the option to open the document in the browser vs. the desktop app.

  • You can access the Cloud Space from the Project Overview as well as the Workspace page.

• Technical

  • Your data is always, where you usually have it, i.e. a cloud or project folder on your computer and a text file, which you open with your favorite word processor ‘(MS Word, LibreOffice, etc.).

  • Once your Mentafy writing project is set up, your storage is synchronized and activities, like uploading documents and writing in your main documents will be documented for your Mentafy report.

    • Tip: If you prefer working solely in your main document, make sure you set ‘Session recording’ to ‘starts automatically on file changes’, so that Mentafy can record your project work in the background.

• • • Tip: For Mentafy to work it is only important that the document is regularly saved to the project’s OneDrive cloud folder. So please make sure to have autosave enabled.
      Here is how to see if autosave is enabled: In the web browser version of Word 365, there is no way to turn it off. The save status is indicated by a check mark next to the cloud icon in the top left corner:

In the desktop app version of Word, the autosave switch in the top left corner must be enabled:
