Why is it cool?
When researching about your project you will come across numerous sources such as books, websites, articles, etc. With Mentafys source list you keep an overview of all your sources in one place, ready to be reviewed or properly cited whenever you need them.
What does it do?
A comprehensive source list that helps manage citations and references. You see where the reference came from, edit the reference, and lastly also copy them directly to your bibliography.
How to use?
Usability
There are multiple ways an entry to the source list is made:
upload a text file to your workspace
add and save a link via the ‘Notes & Materials’ tab
add a reference and cite it within your main document working in the MS Word Desktop App (other text processors are currently not supported)
You can review the source and edit its information, e.g. to create a properly formatted reference for your bibliography.
In order to copy the reference
click on the copy symbol right next to the listed source
click on the source first and then you also find a preview of how the reference looks like as well as the copy button again.
